KPA Bursary

The KPA Bursary is a KPA scheme that aims to help postgraduates engage in extracurricular activities. Any postgraduate at Keele University can apply for between £50-£500 to engage in activities outside of their course which will help their personal and academic development. Every year the KPA awards between £10,000 and £12,000 in bursaries. The KPA Bursary is intended to help individual postgraduate students engage with extracurricular activities opposed to helping individuals/groups organising an extracurricular activity for postgraduates. If you are, however, interested in organising an extracurricular activity for postgraduates, the KPA could still support the activity (both financially and organisationally). Please email to ask for more details.

The KPA Bursary terms and conditions, guidance, links to frequently asked questions and links to reports of successful applicants and how the bursary has helped them can be found below. To learn more details of the scheme, including advice on how to develop a strong application, watch the video below!

Successful Applicants

Each successful applicant is required to submit a report on the activity they used their bursary for. These reports can be found here and are a great example of some of the fantastic activities the KPA Bursary has been able to support!

(Special thanks to Kara Holloway for producing this fantastic bursary video!)
